- 05/01/2010 Range Rover chosen as the car of the decade by AutoCar.co.uk readers
- If you want to buy a Range Rover then you are in good company, AutoCar readers recently voted the Range Rover as their car of the decade. The Range Rover saw of competion from 18 of the best cars of the decade as selected by AutoCar experts. In second place was the Lotus Elise, then came the Bugatti Veyron and Nissan GT-R in joint third. Other notable placings in the survey went to the Lotus Elise-based Vauxhall VX220 Ford Focus, Audi R8, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Tata Nano and MkII Toyota Prius.
- 04/01/2010 Dodge Journey improves efficiency for 2010
- Good news for Dodge Journey fans, it has improved its CO2 emissions and therefore dropped a tax band. The 2.0-litre diesel manual has decreased its emissions by five grams per kilometre, moving from tax band H to G, saving £25 of vehicle excise duty, and the 2.0-litre diesel automatic model decreased by 10 grams per kilometre, saving £40 of vehicle excise duty and moving from Band J to I. The frugal 2.0-litre diesel engine will return up to 44.8 mpg on a combined cycle.

- June (4th to 14th) saw Motorexpo visit London's Canary Wharf. There was an impressive list of exhibitors, with a good showing from the top marques and no less than 16 vehicles making their debut. - 24/04/09 Honda committed to Diesel Power for Europe
- Honda was a latecomer to the car diesel engine scene but the arrival of the i-CTDi engine in recent years set a benchmark for smoothness in a diesel. Honda have now confirmed their commitment to diesel with the announcement of a new Diesel Engine factory in Japan which will further enhance their capacity in the Diesel Car sector. - The new compact 7 Seat MPV leads on safety. Due to be released in April, the new Verso will feature Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TA) to name just some of the safety features. The new car has also been designed to achieve a five star rating in the Euro NCAP test. The Verso has always been a safe performer.

- 11/03/09: White Volvo C70 convertibles
- are pretty rare, we only had two available in our car search database this morning, they are however going to get a lot more common as Volvo has just launched a special edition 'ICE WHITE' C70 Coupe-Convertible. This new car is powered by an economical 2.0D engine and features £2,350 of extra but is priced at £500 less than the model on which it is based.
